Professor Jaroslav Michalek, MD PhD, Cellthera CEO and president of the International Consortium for Cell Therapy and Immunotherapy (ICCTI) has joined the US based Cell Surgical Network (CSN) that uses clinical protocols for stem cells and regenerative cells from stromal vascular fraction of the adipose and connective tissue. These stem cells and regenerative cells are used as freshly isolated cells for treatment of cardiovascular diseases including myocardial infarction, hypertension, chronic heart failure, cardiomyopathy, and a stroke; neurological diseases including multiple sclerosis, Parkinson´s disease, Alzheimer´s disease, ortopedic diseases including joint osteoarthritis, arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, back pain; urological diseases including urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction; eye diseases including age-dependent macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and hypertonic angiopathy; type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus, pulmonary fibrosis, Crohn´s disease and other disorders – more.
